View from Sprung-Canadian Rockies

This past week I was in Aldersyde, south of Calgary, at sales training at Sprung Structures. Sprung is the leader in world class fabric membrane buildings that consistently outperform other building alternatives. We talked about many uses of our structures.....one of the most exciting discussions was greenhouse applications and growing food all over the world.

Sprung has a great culture and environment for their employees. On site is a full size gymnasium, with a work out room and over 25 exercise machines. Each day we took a break to burn some carbon in the gym. We then had 20 minutes to chill, then go for lunch in the company cafeteria. Each day, I stepped outside to enjoy the Autumn sun and to do a quick sketch. West of Sprung, the prairie rolls into the foothills and eventually the Rockies. One day the clouds were rolling over the peaks, and up high the winds were pushing the clouds in a quick race to the prairie off to the East.
